As She Says: We’re Led by Women, And That’s More Than Incredible

Let’s be honest. International Women’s Day comes around every year, and it’s easy for it to become just another moment on the calendar. A few nice quotes. A round of applause. Then everything returns to routine.

But this year felt different. The message wasn’t just about recognition. It was a call to Accelerate Action. To close gaps faster. To stop waiting for change and actually lead it.

133 Years is Too Long

According to the World Economic Forum, it could take 133 more years to reach full gender parity. That’s not just a data point. It’s a pause-and-think moment. Because if we believe in innovation and progress, then slow change isn’t an option.

What It Means to Lead Here

At AceTeam Networks, leadership isn’t performative. It’s lived.

Our Executive Chairman, Azuin Baharudin, leads not because of a quota, but because of clarity, execution, and purpose. That’s the kind of leadership we believe in. The kind that moves people, projects, and culture forward.

This Year, We Asked the Tougher Questions

Women’s Day is often full of appreciation posts, and those are important. But this year, we used the moment to reflect on something deeper.

Are we building a space where women feel truly heard?

Are we encouraging leadership in all its forms, without forcing anyone into outdated molds?

Are we creating room for boldness that doesn’t just feel allowed, but feels expected?

These weren’t checklist questions. These were real conversations we had internally. The kind that push us to do better. Not just once a year, but always.

Progress Should Not Be Seasonal

Acceleration doesn’t mean a once-a-year celebration. It means looking at our everyday habits, conversations, decisions, and culture. It means seeing leadership where it already exists, and asking what it needs to thrive.

Because here’s what we believe.

If we don’t work for change, we drive it.

And we believe women shouldn’t just be supported in leadership. They should be expected to lead, respected when they do, and celebrated every time they rise.

A Note That Doesn’t End Here

The work doesn’t stop in March. It continues in how we hire, how we promote, how we collaborate, and how we listen.

If this speaks to you, come join the conversation on LinkedIn. Watch how we work, speak with our team, and see how leadership shows up quietly, consistently, and boldly.

Because as she says, we are led by women too.
And that’s not just incredible.
That’s exactly how it should be.
